Beef
originating in the North East of England in the 18th century, the Shorthorn is the oldest recorded breed of cattle in the UK. Shorthorn beef has been recognised as having very good tenderness qualities.
Lamb
Southdown lamb was once, one of the most popular breeds developed on the Sussex downs for London market. Changing fashions saw its decline to rare breeds status. It produces top quality meat, which is sweet and succulent.
Pork
Traditionally an orchard pig, Gloucester Old Spot's originated from around the Berkeley Vale on the southern shores of the river Severn. Ideally suited to traditional farming prectices, The Old Spot breed produces some of the finest tasting pork and bacon available.
